Dr. Kant, a sociologist by training, holds a PhD in Social Sciences from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Prior to joining the Center, she was an Assistant Professor at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Aastha has also worked at the Population Council, New Delhi. Her areas of expertise include reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health and research methodology.
